GENERAL FIREARM SALES

All firearms, magazines, receivers, and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines, and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering.

The local transferring FFL dealer should have all the necessary information regarding the process and legal hurdles in purchasing a firearm in your location. It is highly recommended that you contact a FFL to make any necessary arrangements prior to making any purchase. They should have access to any information needed and be able to help you through the process. Transfer fees may be higher in some areas than others because of local regulations.

All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories, and applicable warranty. Firearms sales are final. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items..

PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE

It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). For that reason, firearms purchased online may be picked up at our store or shipped to an FFL (gun store) near you. We may need to contact and verify the FFL you select during checkout before we ship your firearm(s). The buyer is encouraged to contact the receiving FFL licensee before purchase.

The Following States have restrictions that you must comply with Connecticut, Illinois, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey or New York. Shipments to Alaska and Hawii will require an additional shipment cost

Note: Knowing and abiding by State and/or Local laws/restrictions prohibiting the possession or ownership of any item YowieO.com sells is the customer's responsibility. Any merchandise credit required for not complying with the fore mentioned is subject to a 20% re-stocking charge and any shipping charges incurred.

CHANGING, MODIFYING, SUBSTITUTING ORDERS

We like to serve customers best as possible, and we understand that mistakes can happen. If you have placed an existing order and want to change it we can help you with that. The process is as follows: orders that need modified will be cancelled and the customer will be refunded the full amount minus a $10 charge via gift card. Once the customer receives the refund, they can replace the order on the website. Yowie Outdoors WILL NOT place the order for the customer due to fraud and sensitive information that gets exchanged in transactions. At this point the transaction lead times have restarted.

 

BACKORDERS

We do everything possible to get your backorders out as quickly as possible while minimizing shipping costs.

When you only have one product on backorder, we ship it out as soon as its received. If you have backorder of multiple products on a single invoice, we may hold all or some of those products so they ship together. Once any backordered product has been in our warehouse for 90 days, we automatically ship that product to you, as well as any of your other backordered products in stock at that time. All backorders ship via the most economical shipping method possible.

In the event that we are unable to fill all backorders for a product within 365 days, the backorder for that product is cancelled. In most cases when this is necessary it is due to unusually high demand or a lack of materials, and our suppliers have indicated that they cannot provide us with the items.

 

RETURNS & CANCELED ORDERS

All canceled and returned orders will be charged a 20% restocking fee. All sales are final, including firearms, ammunition, and optics. Any order that surpasses 21 days and we haven’t received the requested documents for your order. Your order will be canceled, and funds returned minus the 20% restocking fee. If this is an NFA item, and If the ATF transfer process has not been initiated and a cancellation request is made within 10 days of the purchase date, There will be a 25% restocking fee. If the ATF transfer process has started, (Form 4 Submitted), the following will need to take place.

• Submit and NFA request to withdraw submitted form and refund payment to the ATF. If the NFA item has not yet been approved and was submitted electronically through us we may be able to assist with this.
• Your request letter must be a piece of paper including the information listed below (the ATF will not accept attachments of just signatures).
• Print or hand write a request letter with the information listed below, and then submit as a PDF scan or image.
• Applicant name (trust and/or individual name as it appears on the application)
• A reason for the withdrawal/void
• If the form is approved: a statement confirming the firearm has not been physically transferred and remains in the dealers possession
• Hand-written signature

Upon confirmation of the withdraw you will be eligible to a refund of the NFA items minus the 25% restocking fee. The refund of any NFA tax stamps are to be handled between you and the ATF. If you had paid to us the NFA tax stamp that amount was paid to the ATF on your behalf and any possible refunds are between you and the ATF.

Sales on the following items are final:

7. Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.
8. NFA items.
9. Illumination devices, electronic sights and optics.

Layaway Policy

We offer a convenient layaway option for purchases over $200. A minimum deposit of 25% of the total purchase price is required to secure the item(s), with the remaining balance divided into equal monthly payments over a maximum term of 90 days. All payments must be made on schedule, and failure to complete the layaway within the 90-day term will result in cancellation of the agreement and a 25% restocking/cancellation fee.

Unclaimed/Abandoned Items: If a layaway is canceled or if the item(s) remain unclaimed after the layaway term, they will be held for a maximum of nine (9) months in accordance with our store policies.

To avoid cancellation, abandonment, or additional fees, ensure all layaway payments are completed within the 90-day period, and the item is picked up promptly.

 

Unclaimed/Abandoned Items:

Items received or purchased that have not been accepted or claimed by the buyer or owner or is undeliverable due to error or omission on the part of the shipper, buyer, or owner or for which no disposition instructions have been provided within nine months of its arrival shall be considered unclaimed/abandoned. After the nine-month period the item shall be available for sale to a new owner.

 

ORDER FULLFILMENT

All orders are shipped promptly from a distributor warehouse or in-store inventory within 3 - 10 usiness days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx. Our Flat rate shipping policy only qualifies for the lower 48 states. Orders cannot be processed and will be flagged as fraud if the billing and shipping address DO NOT match. Orders will then be replaced via gift card to place the order correctly. IF an order is for a serialized item or firearm the system will dictate it as such and it will be sent to the chosen FFL. DO NOT put the FFL as the shipping address.

AMMUNITION PURCHASES

YYou must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required and sales on these items are final. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations. Customers are responsible and must follow all local, state and federal laws. Please research before ordering if you are unsure about your local laws.

 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

We are unable to process international orders due to a variety of regulations controlling shipments outside the U.S.

 

ONLINE PRICE & DESCRIPTION ERRORS

Online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures, or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer's credit card, or we will refund the money.

INDEMNIFICATION AND AGREEMENT TO DEFEND

I fully agree that if any of my representations when making purchases under the Terms of Sale are incorrect or if I fail to comply with these Terms of Sale, then I will indemnify, defend, save harmless, and release YowieO.com and its owners, agents, officers, and employees against any civil liability or criminal prosecution resulting from my purchase from Yowie Outdoors.
